Our Collaboration with The Local Project

When The Local Project reached out to us to help launch their acclaimed architecture video series in the United States, we were thrilled. Known for their beautifully shot stories on design, architecture, and the people behind it, The Local Project has set a new standard for how architectural storytelling is done. And where better to begin their U.S. journey than in Boulder, Colorado?

We were honored to be their partner on this inaugural U.S. production, capturing the stunning Panorama House in a single, focused shoot day. Designed with intention and filled with character, the home features vintage furnishings, bold architectural lines, and a show-stopping feature: a pool that reveals itself from solid ground. Every element of this house was carefully considered, and our goal was to let that thoughtful design speak for itself.

To do it justice, we filmed with two ARRI Alexa Mini cameras paired with Sigma Cine Prime lenses, providing cinematic depth and clarity. Despite having a relatively small crew, our tight-knit team operated with precision and care. Our approach was all about restraint and intention—letting the house lead, while we followed its rhythm.

We included a variety of visual styles to enhance the story, including timelapse sequences, aerial drone footage, and pointed, intimate interviews with both the owner/designer and the architect. These conversations offered a window into the thought process behind the build, adding layers of meaning to every visual moment.

This was more than just another project for us. Our founder, Jordan Hansen, began his career studying architecture and grew up near the iconic works of Frank Lloyd Wright. Being able to blend his background in architecture with his passion for storytelling made this experience especially meaningful.

We’re proud of what we created with The Local Project, and excited to see their expansion into the U.S. market. It’s not every day you get to work on a project that combines deep personal passion with creative craft—and this one did exactly that.

If you haven’t seen the Panorama House episode yet, we highly recommend checking it out. And if you're looking for a team to help tell stories that are both beautiful and thoughtful, we’re ready to roll camera.
